The Insight to Decide

Atlanta's Home Inspector.

Here Before Your Realtor. Done Before Dinner.

From the Roof to the Foundation — What a Real Inspection Looks Like

Most inspectors hand you a PDF and move on to the next job. That's not how I work.

When I inspect a home, I walk every inch of it — attic to crawlspace, panel to plumbing — and I document what I find with photos and plain-English explanations. If you're on-site, I walk you through the findings before I leave. If you're not, the report does it for you.

I came to home inspection from a background in home improvement and construction. That means when I see something wrong, I'm not just flagging it — I understand what caused it, what it costs, and what happens if it's ignored. That context is what makes the difference between a report that helps you and one that just overwhelms you.

We serve buyers, sellers, and real estate agents across the southeast Atlanta metro — from Decatur to Stockbridge, College Park to Druid Hills. Military families receive a discount. Every inspection includes a free follow-up consultation.

Every Inspection We Offer — and When You Need It

Whether you're buying, selling, building new, or need insurance documentation — here's the right inspection for your situation.

Home Inspection Atlanta

Home Inspection

The full picture, foundation to roof. Before you close on any home in Atlanta, you need to know what you're buying. This is that inspection.

Pre listing Inspection

For sellers who want to know what a buyer's inspector will find — before they find it. Finding issues on your timeline is almost always cheaper than negotiating them at closing.

Pre drywall Inspection

If you're buying new construction anywhere in the Atlanta area, this is the inspection most builders won't mention. Once the drywall goes up, what's behind it stays hidden for decades.

Pool and Spa Inspection

A pool that looks great from the deck can have a failing pump, hidden leaks, or unsafe electrical bonding. I check the equipment, structure, and wiring.

Mold Testing & Sampling

Atlanta's humidity makes mold a legitimate concern — especially in crawlspaces and attics. Air sampling tells you what you're actually dealing with, not just what you can see.

4 point Inspection

Required by most insurance companies for homes 25 years or older. I'll tell you whether your roof, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC will pass — and what needs attention if they won't.

What Clients Say After the Inspection

These are real reviews from real clients. We leave them exactly as written.

Darrell was extremely professional, polite and personable. He was prompt, he actually got there prior to my realtor and I arriving. I’ve worked with several inspectors in the past but they never took the time to explain everything, he did. In short he’s simply the best and I would confidently recommend him to anyone.

Client

My husband and I had a wonderful experience today with our inspector, Mr. Jason Harold. He did a very thorough inspection and he took the time to explain in detail what the report included. We were totally pleased with his professionalism. If we have any friends looking for an inspector, we would definitely refer him.

Client

Jason Harold was sent out to do a home inspection for me and my spouse for a new home purchase, he did a great job. He did a very thorough inspection. This is the first time ever, I had anyone to inspect a property the way he did, he didn't seem to miss anything. He should get an award for inspector of the year!😊

  • Should I be there for the inspection?

You're welcome to come — a lot of buyers do. I'd suggest arriving toward the end rather than the beginning. That's when I walk you through what I found, which is the most useful part. If you can't make it, the written report with photos covers everything, and I'm available by phone afterward.

  • How much does a home inspection cost?

Pricing depends on the size, age, and foundation type of the home. Most standard inspections in the Atlanta area run between $350 and $500. You'll see the exact number before you confirm — no surprises. Use the online scheduler to build your package and get an instant quote.
